Wednesday, Sept. 12 – Rosh Hashannah Eve 7PM - service to be held at the
Orman’s with Ruth Adar conducting.
Thursday, Sept. 13 – Rosh Hashannah day service 11AM – home of Arlene
Proebsting
With Ruth Adar conducting, followed by potluck lunch.
Sat., Sept. 22 – Break the Fast potluck dinner for end of Yom Kippur. At Arlene’s
home, Sonora, time TBA
Sat. Sept. 29 - Sukkot Service at home of Dr. Retherford in Sonora. 12N - 4PM.
Bring fresh fruit and vegetables to hang on the Sukkah.
Friday, Oct. 26 – Shabbat Service at Orman’s, with guest rabbi.
Saturday - Service or Education at Freedman’s (same Rabbi)
Saturday, Nov. 17 – Bowling (Black Oak Casino), Details TBA
Saturday, Dec. 8 – Hanukkah Party – Ron Schaner will chair
Jan. 20 - 5PM Havdallah and potluck dinner. 6:30PM - (Ladies Only) Sisterhood
Night at the Orman's. RSVP
Jan. 21 – 12 noon - Tu B’Shvat Svc. - bring fruit and a meal to share.
March 7 - Shabbat Service at Arlene Proebsting's home, Sonora. Guest rabbi.
March 21 – Purim Party – Ormans Home - 6PM Mediterranean Potluck
Apr. 20 – Passover Seder at Native Sons Hall in Murphys. 4PM $22 ea. plus dish to
share.
Apr. 30 - Weds. night Board Meeting
May 17 - Bat Mitzvah of Sarah Freedman at Temple Israel in Stockton. Celebration
dinner at Freedman home in Jamestown.
June – Jewish Weekend at the Millers, Lake Tulloch – Tentative date June 20-22.
July 26 - Maria Yaroshinsky bat mitzvah. Yoshinsky home in San Andreas. 10:30am.
Judy Miller will continue teaching Hebrew at the main library on Greenley in
Sonora at 4P for beginners, 5PM for 2nd year students. Classes are held on
Mondays. Any paid-up members are welcome to join us. Holly Orman is teaching
Hebrew and bar/bat mitzvah preparation by appointment at her home in Murphys
